Companies As Responsive Employers

The CARE Awards recognize companies in Northern Virginia who are leaders in providing innovative and supportive, family-friendly policies, programs and services.

The CARE Awards are designed to encourage companies to institute family-friendly programs by exposing them to ideas and thoughtful discussions with business leaders who have already embraced such policies. Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS) works to empower individuals and families to improve their quality of life and to promote community cooperation and support in responding to family needs. NVFS is proud to extend its mission to the business community through the CARE Awards, which were developed in 1992 by NVFS and area business leaders who had a desire to affect positive change in the workplaces of Northern Virginia.
